Funk's was moving into a historic building in Downtown Crossing that had since been fitted with very modern office spaces. But barbershops by nature are throwback kinds-of-places. Bridging that gap led to the use of some mid-century modern cues brought into current times, to give Funk's a cool retro-modern feel.
